Safe Space in Nature Celebration

Lincoln Park Zoo | Education Department

Join Lincoln Park Zoo educators, scientists and youth leaders for an all-day celebration of queerness in the natural sciences! This free event is open to current middle school & high school students. Members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies are welcome. You'll get hands-on training in field research methods and hear career advice from queer conservation professionals. Members of the Conservation Ambassadors Board will lead guided tours around the zoo, featuring NAT-YOU-RAL exploration of animal behavior. All materials will be provided, including free parking passes, lunch, and snacks.

Attend for the whole day (10am-5pm) or just the morning or afternoon; choose the ticket option that works best for your schedule!
